If modifications and high horsepower are your main goal, especially upgrades like injectors or tuning, then you should consider upgrading to main studs! If your main bolts fail, you will often hear a loud knocking followed by power loss, this can also lead to catastrophic damage.

These studs hold the bottom end together clamping the crank in place, this provides you with increased stability, precise torque application, and effectively prevents distortion under high loads.
