Secure the Duramax OEM Cylinder Head Bolt (36 Pack) onto a GM 2001-2016 6.6L V8 engine for proper fitting. Remember to replace these bolts each time they are removed as they are NOT meant to be used again. Trying to reuse torque to yield fasteners will not provide the correct hold and can lead to failure.

Starting in the middle and moving towards the outside, torque each bolt evenly following these settings. 

• Step 1 : 37 ft lbs.
• Step 2 : 59 ft lbs.
• Step 3 : 60 degrees
