This transmission is fully remanufactured and includes the BD Valve Body with modifications to enhance shift quality and prolong transmission life. The valve body also has a new heavy-duty governor pressure solenoid and upgraded pressure transducer kit with twice the burst pressure of stock. For added fluid capacity and cooling, a deep sump oil pan is included in the RoadMaster package. Plus, every 48RE RoadMaster transmission comes with a BD ProForce Torque Converter.
