While the Cognito pitman and idler arm support kit makes steering stabilizers unnecessary (and actually works better), some folks just want both. Here's the deal: they normally clash for space when mounted in the factory location. This relocation kit drops the frame mounting end of the stabilizer down, solving the clearance issue with the Cognito Pitman Arm Support Bracket.

Additional Info

• OEM steering stabilizers were not available on 2011-2019 trucks. Adding a steering stabilizer requires 2 mounting points, one on the steering center link(right side of truck) and one on the frame (left side of truck). 2011 to present trucks all have the mounting provision on the steering center link, which is the tapered hole in the right side of the steering center link near the idler arm. Regarding the frame mounting provision, this is the clevis (2 tabs sticking out) welded to the frame crossmember, and only the 2011-2014 and some 2015 trucks have this to be able to add on a steering stabilizer.
