The ALPHA HD PRO S Air Suspension Kit eliminates truck sag, sway, and bottoming out. Built with corrosion-resistant end caps and 20 support wires for durability, it includes a polyurethane bumper inside the bag to prevent damage. Designed to maintain ride comfort even without air, this kit offers a reliable solution for heavy loads and towing. Available with or without the internal bump stop.

Why Pacbrake added a bump stop to their bags?

Peace of mind. Customers want a bump stop to prevent bottoming out from loss of air bag pressure, an extremely rare event that could damage the air bags or potentially the frame of the truck. Think of it as an "insurance policy" against bottoming out.

An additional benefit is that you can run these airbags at 0 psi when unloaded for superior ride comfort.

Are bump stops necessary?

No! For those that require max travel in their air bags, to raise and lower their rear end to pickup trailers or boats, or for those that take their trucks off-roading, air bags without bump stops are recommended. Consider the HP10206 ALPHA HD air bag.
