If you're running one of Edge's color monitors in your diesel truck, you can monitor a plethora of different engine and powertrain vitals. However, without this optional EGT probe, you are missing out on the most important thing to watch: your exhaust gas temperature (EGT). 

This probe is designed to work with Edge's exclusive EAS (Expandable Accessory System) to allow you to daisy chain multiple sensors if need be.  Otherwise, this sensor works perfectly as a stand-alone with your existing monitor.  Built with a 15" lead, if the need arises, you can easily replace only the probe without replacing the entire harness down the road.
