If you want to extend the life of your LML by getting rid of that CP4 pump or hop up the performance then this S&S Diesel CP3 conversion kit may be the unit for you. CP4 high pressure pumps are the Achilles heel of the LML Duramax engine because of high failure rates, and commonly taking out the entire, very costly, high-pressure system with it (injectors, rails, lines).

They even offer a 50 state legal conversion along with competition use options. The CP3 pump just has the proven history that we've come to expect with our diesel trucks.
