The fuel tank includes black-coated, galvanized steel mounting straps and a unique low fuel trap design that allows for 46 gallons of usable capacity. Titan could boast a larger capacity, but they prefer to be honest and set reasonable expectations for customers. Additionally, the Titan XXL tank has minimal protrusion below the stock tank (less than 1/2").
