Note: Tuning can only be applied on 2022-2024 Cummins trucks that already have unlocked/swapped their 2022-2024 ECM with a 2019-2021 ECM. Does NOT work with 2023 or 2024 Cab and Chassis models.

The MM3 is based on the Smarty Touch hardware platform, but the similarities end there. The MM3 is dedicated to the custom tuning market and the professional tuner.

We do not support lope tunes or smoke tunes.

Device

The MM3 Tuner has everything installed right out of the box. It also features one of the fastest ECM downloads in the industry. A typical ECM update takes under 6 minutes. All MM3 tuners come blank out of the box as they are considered an "Open Tuning Platform". This allows you to load any tuners files into the device at any time.

It is designed to be able to load tuning software files from CCS tuning upon request from the manufacturers of the tuning software, it can be easily adapted to load tuning files in any format. Simply put, CCS builds the performance software and the MM3 allows the tuner to get CCS tunes software into the ECM.

All working principles like, get the stock file, send files, ECM files, Real-Time Group, and Real-Time Parameters are the same as with a Smarty Touch.

Power Levels

CCS Tuning 2022-2023 (Single Tune Only)

For a single tune choose any of the following (Please input tune choice in Notes)

• 45hp Tow
• 70hp Economy
• 90hp Street
• 120hp Race
• 150hp Race+

Higher Power levels can be written with the proper supporting modifications. Please state the HP level and the supporting modifications.

Notes

• On 2022-2024 trucks, you currently cannot adjust the TPMS via the MM3 Device. This will be addressed in a future update, however, we do not have an ETA.

ECM Swap Procedure

With the MM3, you are not required to send in your ECM's for the Swap/Unlock Service. This can now be completed via the MM3 Device by following the steps below.

1. With the 22 ECM installed, on the mm3 in the vehicle, go to settings, service codes, and enter service code 4666.
2. Turn the key off, swap in the 19-21 ECM
3. Program the recovery file to the vehicle with the new ECM installed (this should be requested ahead of time, more on this below.)
4. Get Stock file for the vehicle and please email it to [email protected]
5. Program new tune file to vehicle

Recovery File (required for Step 3) - To be done ahead of time

• To request a recovery file from MM3, please email [email protected] and ask for a recovery file for your vehicle. State your vehicle's Year, Make and Model, vin number, and transmission type. This can be done beforehand.
